Tanguy Quidelleur is a PhD candidate at the Institut des Sciences sociales du Politique (CNRS - University Paris Nanterre - ENS Paris-Saclay). Since 2017, he has regularly conducted field research in Burkina Faso and Mali. His work focuses on the impact of armed conflicts on local populations, armed mobilization, and the reconfiguration of the State.
He holds a master's degree in International Political Sociology from the University of Paris Nanterre, and wrote his Master's thesis on the development of self-defence groups in Burkina Faso. He has also worked as a consultant for NGOs and institutions. Tanguy Quidelleur is a graduate of the University of Rennes 1 and Marmara University in Istanbul and has was a researcher at the University of Laval, Quebec.
