Grounding our work

Our research is entirely based on fieldwork. This enables us to stay attuned to local issues and ensures the quality of our publications. Our commitment to fieldwork is more than a choice of methodology, it is the base of our credibility as researchers and analysts. This local grounding is a crucial condition for the interpretation of current political trends. It allows us to:

‣ Keep in constant touch with our local interlocutors

‣ Diversify our angles of analysis

‣ Be responsive to the most recent transformations

Collective work. Shareable

Noria promotes collective work at all stages of our research projects: inception, fieldwork, writing and presentation of results (roundtables, publications, reports…).

Noria is also a space for training where collective know-hows are created and transmitted. It promotes the sharing of experience and the incorporation of new generations of specialists.
