Editorial Policy

We publish analyses on themes pertaining to political change, violence and conflicts, and international affairs. Contributions must meet the requirements of academic ethic and rigor. The editorial board will select the pieces that will be published.  Papers based on field research will be prioritised.


Any confirmed instance of plagiarism will automatically lead to rejection   or deletion of the article in question. Contributors must use footnotes and properly cite their references.


All texts should be in a Word format, Times New Roman 12-point font, 1.5 spaced and should number between 10,000 and 15,000 characters (including spaces, but excluding foot-notes and references). Annexes must be sent in Jpeg format.
Noria publishes articles written in French or English. Photographs, maps or any other visual aids, although not mandatory, would be most appreciated.


The views expressed in the papers are the sole responsibility of the author and do not necessarily represent the views of Noria and its members.

The contributor must refrain from proposing the same paper to other media-outlets and journals for a duration of two months following the confirmation of submission by Noria. These conditions do not apply to photo-reports.

Noria only publishes original works., Should authors wish to submit articles previously published elsewhere, the authors must include a note  to that extent on Noria’s website,  along with a link to the original piece ( these conditions do not apply to photo-reports).
