Victor Louzon is a member of Noria's Editorial board. He writes about nationalism, (post)colonialism, political violence and collective memory in East Asia. He is based in Paris and New York.
Currently a postdoctoral scholar at Columbia University, he has also taught at Sciences Po. Victor holds a PhD in history and graduated from Sciences Po and the INaLCO in Paris. He has lived in China and Taiwan, speaks and reads Chinese and reads Japanese. He has written for the Journal of Asian Studies, Vingtième Siècle, Etudes Chinoises, Books and Ideas, and Noria.
