Théotime Chabre

Théotime Chabre is an adjunct teacher at Sciences Po Paris and is a fellow of the Institut Convergences Migration (Collège de France) since 2018, where he co-organizes the seminar "Privileged Migrations". He is about to finish a PhD. in sociology and political sciences at Aix-Marseille University. His Ph.D. thesis is aimed at investigating the political and social stakes linked to the emergence of destination for international students in countries at the periphery of the EU. He explores the linkage between territorial promotion, and politics in North-Cyprus. He is specifically interested in the role of international students in these dynamics, as recruiters for the university and activists fighting for student rights. Théotime Chabre obtained his master in International Development from Sciences Po Paris in 2014 and his master in research in political sociology from Sciences Po Aix en Provence in 2016. He speaks French, English, Turkish, Spanish, and German.
