Diana Cissé
Diana Cissé recently registered for a PhD degree in political science at the University of Ottawa, under the supervision of professor Marie Christine Doran.
Her research focuses on peasant mobilization, ‘land grabbing’ and the financial dynamics at both local and international level of agricultural land market.
During her studies and Master degree at the Institut des Hautes Études sur l’Amérique Latine of the University Sorbonne-Nouvelle, Diana did a fieldwork within a humanitarian corridor of civil resistance, in the department of Meta (Colombia). This space apparead after the mobilization of peasants who had previously been in situations of forced displacement.
