Xavier Houdoy is an India and South Asia Analyst and manages Cartograpby and Strategic Development. He works on issues of trans-border security, foreign policy and development in marginalized areas.
He is a PhD candidate at the Institut Français de Géopolitique (IFG) of Paris-8 University and an affiliate PhD candidate at the Centre for Social Sciences and Humanities (CSH) in New Delhi. He holds a research Master’s from IDG.
His PhD research examines contemporary strategies of state consolidation in North-East India, where he conducted ethnographic field research on several occasions in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, he taught at the Asia campus of Sciences-Po Paris.
