Adèle Blazquez is a member of the Editorial Committee and a Mexico Analyst. Using ethnography, she works on daily life amidst violence in the north of Mexico. She is a PhD candidate in Social Anthropology at EHESS and a member of IRIS-EHESS and CEMCA. She is also Associate Researcher of the ERC « Social Dynamics of Civil Wars » program. In 2014, she taught at the Universidad Autónoma of Sinaloa in Culiacan.
She holds a BA in Law from Paris X-Nanterre University and a Master’s in Social Anthropology from EHESS. Her research centers on rural and marginalized regions in the states of Chihuahua and Sinaloa.
